Overview

Passive Sonar Level II technicians operate sonar subsystems, perform organizational level maintenance, and identify the sources of acoustic signatures. They work with the AN/SQR-19(V) Towed Array, AN/SQQ-28(V) sensors, AN/SQS-53 or AN/SQS-56 sonar, and associated oceanographic, processing, and countermeasure systems.
