Overview
An AN/STC-3(V) Integrated Voice Communications System maintenance technician operates and maintains computerized interior voice communications equipment, including power supplies, switchboards, batteries, terminals, and the PBX telecommunications switch. The technician configures and maintains media processors, interfaces, and user terminal information, then uses tests, equipment, and user complaints to identify faults and keep the system operating during ship readiness conditions.

What the Work Involves
