Overview
An AN/SSC-13 Shipboard Air Traffic Control Communications Technician performs planned and corrective organizational-level maintenance on the air traffic control digital communication switching system. The technician monitors computer diagnostics, uses general-purpose and built-in test equipment to isolate faults, replaces components at the lowest repairable unit level, and checks connectivity with radios and shipboard communication interfaces.
