Overview
The AN/SPS-73(V)18 maintenance technician performs basic operations and planned and corrective organizational level maintenance on the Next Generation Surface Radar in port and underway. The technician uses the radar's interactive Maintenance Built-In Test, functional software, and embedded data maintenance manual to complete maintenance tasks.

What the Work Involves
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, or voltmeters.
