Overview
An Air Intercept Control Weapons and Tactics Instructor supervises the training and performance of Air Intercept Controllers and Supervisory Air Intercept Controllers. The instructor provides expertise to Carrier Strike Group commanders who monitor, train, and evaluate controllers assigned to carrier strike groups and amphibious ready groups.

What the Work Involves
- Inform pilots about nearby planes or potentially hazardous conditions, such as weather, speed and direction of wind, or visibility problems.
