Overview

An Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Specialist provides aircraft rescue, aircrew extrication, fire suppression, extinguishment, and basic emergency medical services in support of airfield operations. The specialist also performs hazardous material response, salvage and overhaul operations, incident command, aircraft recovery, and fire protection and prevention duties at forward locations and support installations.
