7208 Air Support Control Officer

Overview

An Air Support Control Officer plans, directs, and coordinates air support missions for MAGTF operations, including close air support, casualty evacuation, and medical evacuation requests. This officer manages combat airspace, coordinates deep air support, electronic warfare, aerial refueling, and aerial reconnaissance missions, and oversees air support equipment and tactical data systems.
