AWO Naval Aircrewman Operator
Overview
Naval Aircrewman Operators use airborne tactical systems and sensors aboard maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft and unmanned aerial systems to detect, analyze, classify, track, and attack contacts. They support mission planning, safeguard classified material, handle ordnance, and collect and produce intelligence products for aircrews and theater commanders.
Minimum clearance: Secret, often with SCI exposure

What the Work Involves
- Prepare emergency situation status reports that describe response and recovery efforts, needs, and preliminary damage assessments.
