AWR Naval Aircrewman Tactical-Helicopter
Overview
A Tactical Helicopter Naval Aircrewman detects, analyzes, classifies, tracks, and engages subsurface, surface, and air contacts using sonar, sonobuoys, radar, electronic warfare, and imaging systems. The aircrewman coordinates tactical communications, conducts weapons delivery and command and control, and supports maritime strike, special operations, search and rescue, transport, replenishment, medical evacuation, and boarding missions.
Minimum clearance: Secret, often with SCI exposure
